To plate silver with gold is literally coating the surface of silver with a layer of pure gold up to a strength of 1mm. It is done via a chemical reaction which uses electrical currents, called galvanization. the resulting golden surface is very durable and ideally suited for the use in jewellery. In our onlineshop for fashionable jewellery you can find a range of beautiful pieces where the technique of gold-plating is applied: small and cute ball earrings, “KNOTTED” GILDED SILVER EAR STUDS or the ELEGANT GILDED NECKLACE WITH GARNET PENDANT.
